Top notch park with plenty of space, shade, and range of activities to cater to kids from toddlers to preteens. Worth a visit on your vacation! Particular highlights are the ziplines in the back and the nearby dog park.
This is an awesome park! It's 19 acres. They have a play area for toddlers and a play area for older kids. There are picnic shelters, which can be rented. There are also grills. They have restrooms. A really cool pirate ship. Interactive items and the playground is recycled rubber. Other areas are mulch. They also have a small zip line for younger kids and a larger one for older kids. There are wildflower gardens, and several war memorials. There hours are 8 am to 10:00 pm, April through October and 8 am to 8 pm, November through March. If you get a chance, take a group of kids and go enjoy the day! Something for everyone to enjoy!
We stopped here while on vacation. This park is absolutely amazing! It has a large playground for bigger kids, one for younger kids (boat themed) and a toddler area. There are also clean bathrooms and vending machines. Plus: an area for dogs,a walking trail, basketball, pickleball and more.
We had a blast at Kidsburg/Veterans Park! We went on a June evening when there were lots of other kids, but it wasn't crowded at all because the playground is huge. They especially enjoyed the zip lines!
