Travis did an excellent job of not only showing great training techniques with my German Shepherd, but he also takes the time to explain the thought process and behavioral instincts of dogs to show exactly how and why dogs behave the way they do. I would highly recommend TP’s Dog Training. You can tell he really loves what he does and genuinely wants to see your dogs succeed!

***EXCEEDED EVERY EXPECTATION*** Veteran dog trainer. Booked a consultation with Travis to help understand how best to train a stray dog for adoption. Within the first 5 minutes he taught me to control the dog and actually calm him down. Within a half hour we had him sitting, staying, not jumping up and being respectful of folks entering the home. We have used his techniques throughout the day and it is like a whole different dog. Travis arrived well read and researched on the best techniques and owner behavior for this breed of dog to thrive. He offered comprehensive tips for ways to walk him, socialize him, control his barking. This was the best money I have spent in a while. Well exceeded any expectations I had going in.

I thought I was in an impossible situation when my two furbabies all of the sudden started violently fighting repeatedly, after being together for 4 years. Other trainers that I called wouldn't even see them saying it was a lost cause and that I was going to have to make the difficult choice of rehoming one (not an option) or living with them separate forever. Within an hour of Travis' training session and my girls were already responding so well they could be around each other again without trying to rip each other's faces off. 24 hours later with all the humans in the house implementing his training, and they are starting to love each other again. I will be forever grateful to Travis for showing us light at the end of a tunnel from what seemed a completely lost cause. Was an outstanding initial training. Our Yorkie understood him immediately and respected him. My husband and I learned how to correctly train our puppy with positive training without treats! Apparently we were over feeding our puppy with treats, each day as he was not eating well. Today he ate his entire meal for the first time in weeks. We will continue with TP for a long while!
