We were in the area picking up a tarantula. The girl let us know about this little 40 year old store. We met Paton, he was super sweet, very helpful and had the perfect addition for our monitor project. Great prices. Support your local mom n pop shops. Highly recommend this place if you're ever in the area

This little pet shop is our favorite place to get fish from. The staff are always kind and helpful. This place has an amazing variety of fish and they are always healthy. They even have healthy feeder fish for my turtle unlike pet store chains. They actually care about the animals and fish they sell unlike the chain pet stores like PetSmart. This place will always be my go to for all my aquarium needs.

My new favorite pet shop. Purchased multiple shrimp and fish and other aquarium needs. 3 weeks later everything is alive and healthy. Will definitely be coming back for all my needs. So many varieties of fish available and great prices. 5/5

Way way way better that pet store chains - especially for fish. They know their stuff, have a great selection and are both helpful and kind. Feels like a “mom and pop” shop, very real and genuine, with people who really love animals.

We were in town exploring Boerne and drove past this pet shop. The sign is faded and the building is in need of paint. However, there was nothing that would have indicated what we found inside. There were SO many varieties of fish, snakes, lizard, birds and 3 Great Pyrenees shop dogs napping throughout the store. The owner was so helpful and knowledgeable. I am so glad we stopped!
