Mr Andy always comes in clutch for me when other places don't have what I need.. when a big box fish store gives you a headache, Mr Andy will always have what you need in stock most likely.. and if he doesn't have it, he will find it for you.. I have been dealing and shopping with him for many years, ever since back when I lived on that side of town.. now I don't live close by it anymore, but I had to make that drive to get my glass lid.. that everyone else around town said that they had it in stock but they didn't.. due to their inventory being wrong and their employees not caring to fix it.. due to laziness.. speaking on petco and pet supplies plus.. plus, Mr Andy has a large selection of fish, both fresh and salt water also tanks and complete set ups.. he loves everyone of his customers and provides the up most best customer service than anyone in town.. i highly recommend that you shop with him 1st.. plus, he also buys and does trade in on any fish.. and if you need any of the hard to find old school replacement light bulbs he has them, too.. that's what I needed last visit and he came through for me once again. He also has good prices on everything, still to this day.. I remember going to his store as a kid.. Thanks alot once again Mr Andy !! And, keep on doing your thing and making the fish world great day by day for our Houstonians !!

Have not been here in sometime. Went in today and was still clean and fully stocked with interesting fish. Good prices as well. Fish are always healthy and i don't worry about water from their tanks into mine.

So first day I went there it was nice and I got a fish a beta fish in fact and he’s still healthy. He’s very healthy and they keep their fishes in good condition. Actually, I’m not like PetSmart or Petco. I’m going back today because it’s 8 AM here but I’m going back today to get a fish. I don’t know what fish but just a fish like probably their butterfly fish or an angel fish, angel, fish angel fish so bye.

My favorite LFS, would rate 10 stars if I could!!! Stumbled across them once and couldn’t stop coming back. Purchased 90% of my corals and livestock here, all healthy and thriving. Huge selection of saltwater fishes and corals with new arrivals weekly, I love that you can find big colonies not just frags. The owner Andy has guided me a lot throughout my journey, very knowledgeable and would answer all of my many questions whether in person or phone calls. Extremely kind and sweet, he’s not the type to push you to buy unnecessary stuffs, he even refuses to sell me some certain corals because they weren’t suitable for my tank & thanks to that I saved tons of money. Along with Wayne (or Quan I hope I got it right) has also been super helpful and friendly. Best prices in town with lots of specials/discounts. I absolutely adore this place, always a happy time when I’m shopping here.

Nice people, good prices on aquatic livestock. *UPDATE* Be cautious of the livestock you choose! I recently purchased an LTA and it died within 3 days. It didn't look old in their tank because it was under the nice blue light. Once I got it home I monitored it, checked water parameters, adapted the flow, secured it in a location with live rock and lots of substrate according to the information read on acclimating. The tenticles were already a bit shriveled when I bought it. I thought it just needed a little light as the articles and videos said it likes light and moderate flow. Totally wrong for this LTA I guess! I have a BTA that is thriving as well as corals so we stay on top of maintenance. I say all that to say choose wisely because it's an expensive lesson. I purchased a Royal Gramma (RG) and some clown fish that are still thriving so it's a hit or miss. The goby I purchased jumped out of the tank because of the RG, found him under a box on the floor. The pistol shrimp in the picture is still alive so far. HAPPY REEFING!!!
