(from Google)Very nice campground.Pier was a nice plus since we like to fish .Only issue is the planes coming in to airport..It didn't bother sleeping though..
Myrtle Beach SP Is a jewel. Great beach but also has nature trails to explore.
My son had a field trip here and I hadn’t been to Myrtle beach state park since I had been for a field trip. In riding through and looking around I wanted to go home and tell my husband to buy a camper so we can camp there. Such a nice area and I love all the trees around! Most places are eager to cut the trees down and make way for bigger and better(so they think) but Myrtle beach state park is the way it was in the 90s—in the best way possible!
There is an entrance fee per person. The store offers ice cream, drinks, and souvenirs. You can pay with a credit or debit card as long as they can slide - no touch pay. Clean and air conditioned bathrooms. Outdoor foot and body showers for no cost.
Absolutely an oasis. Immaculately maintained and manicured. Helpful and courteous staff. This place has a lot to offer. There's a nature center, beach access, and plenty of wooded areas to explore. Large playground nestled under large live oaks. The fishing pier is closed for repairs. The beach is clean and expansive. Horseback riding on the beach was an added charm. I thoroughly enjoyed my visit and am looking forward to returning.
