The Little Dog Lounge

Horrible experience. Overall a very poor groom. His head was wet when I picked him up. Inner ear had wet matts. He has anxiety and was on medication for that. After visiting their salon, he’s now on two meds for anxiety. He is a very sweet senior Havanese, with zero aggression. The groomer, I don’t even know her name, claimed that he bit her, and then the owner chimed in and said that she was in tears “back there” while she was grooming. I understand that he can be challenging but it does not look like they did anything as far as grooming on his head. I feel like they just gave up on him because of his anxiety and did not even dry him. Very disappointed and will not be going back. The price was reasonable for the lack of grooming done.

I would not recommend The Little Dog Lounge for grooming. My dog went to get “groomed” on Wednesday by Destiny. I have never complained about his haircut in 11.5 years. He is older with some lumps and bumps, and I am not a perfectectionist. This was completely uneven. One side of his face was significantly longer than the other. His paws, under arms, sides, and belly had random long pieces. It was evident he did not have a bath or his ears cleaned, which is listed as included under grooming description. My mom picked him up for me, so I went back to explain my disappointment and get some of the money back for services not complete. She said nobody showed her a picture and she would fix it. I didn’t realize we needed to specify we wanted him to have an even haircut. She got snippy when I explained that he had dirt on his face and she stated well she doesn’t know what to tell me, but he was definitely bathed. She didn’t seem to care at all and I didn’t feel comfortable leaving him with her in the back room after the hack job he had. Save yourself and find a more qualified groomer. Pictures don’t even do justice.

We got a puppy & she needed socialization. The Little Dog Lounge treats our puppy amazing & loves her just as much as us. We are so grateful to have a place to bring her that she enjoys. Thank you!!!

I’ve been bringing my dog Wolfgang to the little dog lounge since he was a puppy. He always pulls like CRAZY on our way in just so excited to see all his friends. He always comes home exhausted which is a huge plus. Destiny is a fantastic groomer and I love being able to drop him at daycare to play be for his groom. I can’t recommend them enough!

BEST groomer ever!! Lucy is seriously the best ever and my dog LOVES going. He always looks fabulous after but seeing how well lucy takes care of and loves my dog seals the deal. I’ve had some pretty traumatic experiences with other groomers in the area so I am so happy to have found Lucy.
