Had their items misplaced on the pricing shelves, there was a confusion at the register. Ivy was really rude. Had an attitude when asking where I found the product, impatiently switched the products to their correct spot and made no effort to accommodate for the stores mistake. Dismissed me and the cashier immediately without any further help. Will be avoiding this store from now on.

I have been a customer of Petco for 15 years or more. I was not impressed by the Springfield store. I will not be returning to the store. There are two tiers of fish that are all diseased. There are many fish displays that are in need of cleaning. The bettas are still being kept in terrible conditions. I bought one thinking it was one color. When I got the poor thing home and warmed up. It turned out to be another color. How in 2026 are we still keeping bettas in tiny little cold cups ? Do better Petco. I saw they have an axolotl there now. Poor thing. I wish it well.

not sure if your hours are wrong or what, but you guys still had your doors closed at 10 when you’re supposed to open at 9, atleast that’s what it says on google and the front of your store. also have been consistently getting double charged for bulk items lately which is a bit frustrating on my end, i understand people make mistakes and usually you guys are great but lately my experience has been otherwise. maybe i’m just bitter because i was on a time crunch but i hope your hours get updated :(

I got a good deal on my fish, but the lights were all off by the tanks so you can’t see anything that’s in the tanks, and we even saw a few “floaters”! And WHY are the Bettas so expensive? There was a few on the cheaper end ($3-$5) but most of the ones there were babies and were $25+!! And they looked like they were sickly/dying/struggling to breathe/etc. You would think they would take better care of their fish and/or put them on SALE, so they can at least go to a good home! This is my second bad experience at one of your stores. I may not be back! :(

i was there yesterday looking at the rodents , and i notices that the dwarf hamsters had blood on there cage ? it’s a pure sign of stress and im just genuinely disgusted in the fact that you guys take such low consideration in the animals ur selling , do better for ur animals . change there bedding and give them better wheels to spin on .
