(from Google)Fisherman’s Trail at George Bush Park is a nature lover’s paradise in Katy/Houston Calm walking trails filled with wildlife like: baby alligators, wild pigs, and even opossums! Perfect for a peaceful walk, photography, or just escaping the city. Don’t forget your curiosity and sense of adventure!
Nice dirt trail. It has alternative routes through the wooded areas if you want to dip out of the sun into the shade. Be aware that I saw a bunch of hog poop and foot prints. This is definitely on my hiking trail return list.
Fishermen and hikers, please take care of the environment. Take your trash with you! Went here for some fishing. It's a very long trail and plenty of water to fish. We didn't catch anything but a channel cat on the day we went but there should be other fish here too. The trail is rough and can be muddy after a rain. Bring a wagon if you have gear to take to lessen the load.
Cool area but too many ppl leave their trash behind. Broken camp chairs, bags, beer bottles/can, soda cans, etc. Has a cool biking trail
Great place to enjoy with friends and family. It is a hidden spot in the middle of Cinco Ranch/Katy area. It is rarely visited due to its relative seclusion inside George Bush Forest. Be careful because there are alligators lurking around.
