(from Google)Jose was our tour guide. he spoke in both spanish and English. He taught us about the creation of Puerto Rico, the Tiano and the mayans. He pointef out plants species and talked about the local wildlife. He talked about why protection of the bats in the caves were necessary and that bats are pollinators. He had many funny jokes and kept the guided tour very interesting from adult to child. he was very engaging and kind.
I would’ve given it 5 stars but I just feel like this was not worth what I paid! It’s an expensive hike and I expected a more intense hike! It was very lite hike with minimal views! The instructor Jesus was really informative however he points out a lot of faces that he believes was carved out by the indigenous people of the island but I don’t agree I think he’s just a pareidolic person who sees faces in natural formations! Cool trip I enjoyed it but not worth the price!
Stopped by Cueva Ventana as a last minute stop with my partner and we are sooo glad we did! Our tour guide Natalia was amazing and very informative. We left knowing more about the wonderful and beautiful Isla del Encanto. Also a special s/o to our second tour guide Ricky. Amazing duo 🤩
Such a great experience. The hike is easy and very accessible, honestly children could and clearly do complete it without issue, which makes it a really approachable way to explore Puerto Rico without needing to be some hardcore hiker. It’s a super cool way to see the island from a different perspective, and the view at the end is absolutely outstanding. One of those moments where you just kind of stand there quietly because your brain needs a second to catch up with what your eyes are seeing. The staff were knowledgeable, happy to answer questions, and keen to take photos, which made the whole experience even better. You can tell they care about the place and about sharing it properly. Truly a great experience and very much worth the stop.
This was such an easy hike with breathtaking views at the top. The scenery alone makes it worth the trip. But our guide was knowledgeable, engaging, and full of fun insights that made the journey even more memorable. Highly recommend!
