We cannot say enough good things about our experience. When we first brought home our rescue dog, we were facing challenges that felt overwhelming at times. Thanks to his patience, expertise, and genuine care, our dog has completely transformed. Prepare to be AMAZED! Not even kidding, Jonathan is literally a dog whisperer. Our son's new puppy, a Brittany Spaniel/German Shepherd mix named Winky, spent a little over 2 weeks with Jonathan when she was about 4 months old. He did miracles! We were so nervous to leave her with someone we didn't know but Jonathan answered all our questions beforehand, and we decided to do the board and train program while we went out of town. When we went back to get her she could sit, stay, lay down, heel, and stay put wherever he told her to stay after he said "Place." He took her to stores, parks, and trained her at his nice, clean facility (it even smells good) to give her exposure to lots of environments. He was so good and sop ositive with her. We loved the way he worked with her with the perfect amount of kindness and firmness. She is so good for us now and we have been able to maintain her good training. We often get compliments on how good she is, especially for a puppy. She is a joy to our family now that she is so well trained. And Jonathan offers follow up lessons after the board and train program so we can build on what she already knows and touch up where she needs more work. I'm so grateful we found Jonathan and SLC Dog Co. We highly recommend them!

Johnathon did amazing work. My dog developed extreme leash reactivity, couldn’t even get on an elevator without being stressed out. Had to carry him all the time. He was so terrified and couldn’t control himself. Johnathon worked with him on the 2 week board and train and it was fantastic! The combination of the e-collar and LOTS of treats kept my pup at ease and motivated to train. I can now confidently go downstairs to take him out. You have to keep up the consistency of course. Johnathon not only trains your pup but trains you as well.

Beyond grateful we took our pup to SLC Dog Co. Johnathan is amazing! If you have been looking and looking for good trainer look no further. I looked and looked and my cousin took her dog here so we decided to take our 6 months puppy Bear to SLC Dog Co. We where desperate for help in few areas, jumping up and then sitting in same place like the couch he would be all over us and bitting our clothes and playing tug awar and biting out hands and arms. Pulling on leash when walking him it was not fun. We taught him place but it was hard time for him to stay in place for very long. Now It's so enjoyable to have a pup that listens and we can enjoy the same place. He walks right next to us, stays in place until released and doesn't bite or jump all over us when sit on the couch." He is a new creature I love it ! " said my teen son. We all love it! SO SO well worth it we are all amazed how well he behaves. Johnathan is so nice, has a great vibe, felt so comfortable leaving our fur baby with him. Answers text, sends pictures video gave us as many update as we wanted and gave us a piece of mind. Jonathan has been working with Molly, our 1 year old Bernadoodle, and I couldn't be happier! He is training her with on leash commands, off leash commands and hand signals. We get pictures and/or videos every other day and can tell she is happy and responding well to Jonathan. I cannot wait for to go pick up Molly (we live in Wyoming) and have Jonathan "train" us to keep her progress going!!
