(from Google)I adopted a very sick puppy from a local shelter. Bloomingdale animal hospital not only saved my puppy by providing all the correct medications to help her recover (steroid shot, fluid, de wormer, and antibiotics) but they also didn’t do anything unnecessary regarding procedures or medications to help me keep my bill affordable. I was so stressed out thinking that this little puppy was going to die, they supported me through the entire process. Their calm confidence and their knowledge really helped calm my nerves and ended up saving her life! I highly recommend them!
This is my sweet girl Luna’s forever vet. She is now 10 and loves going to the vet and waits by the door to see her friends! They are so compassionate and caring. They always attend to our needs quickly and gives the best feedback when I ask questions. Dr. Duvall and Dr. Ramirez are amazing! As the facility manager of Canine Cabana, I know there are so many choices when picking a vet and Bloomingdale AH is my choice. 🩷
Our cat had a seizure at home and when we brought her to Dr Duvall she worked tirelessly to figure out what was wrong. She researched and reached out to other experts before diagnosing her with a rare blood disorder. Without Dr Duvall’s knowledge, perseverance and care our girl wouldn’t be with us today. Thank you!
I have been taking my Frenchie Stella here since she was a puppy and she is almost 5 years old. Last week I took her because she was not feeling well and wasn’t holding down water. Dr. Ramirez did an X-ray and bloodwork and advised she might have an infection in her stomach and prescribed her medication for vomiting, inflammation and infection. After 2 days of Stella still not feeling good I called and was told to bring her back in. When I went in the second time Dr. Duvall advised that Stella needed more bloodwork which we did and stated that she looked at the previous X-ray and seen inflammation in Stella’s stomach. She prescribed Stella more medication. After a few days nothing was working my Frenchie was still sick so I called again and told them she was getting worse and needed to be seen. They advised me to bring her in first thing Monday morning so we did. When we got there and they weighed Stella she had lost 3 pounds and was still throwing up water and barely eating. Dr. Duvall advised Stella needed more bloodwork to check her white blood cells so we said ok. When she came back in she stated that her white blood cells elevated even more from the previous tests. I asked her if she looked at the X-rays that Dr. Ramirez had taken to see if there was something missed and she stated she did and just seen what looked like a lot of fluff. She advised it would be best we took Stella to BluePearl to get an ultrasound as she didn’t know what was going on. When I took my baby to BluePearl the Dr. there had reviewed the X-ray that Dr. Ramirez at Bloomingdale Hospital had taken and within minutes of looking at it determined it was pyometra! Within 5 minutes of looking at the same X-ray that both Dr Ramirez and Dr Duvall both reviewed this Dr. was able to see that Stella’s uterus was triple the size! BluePearl stated that she needed surgery that day if not there was a chance she wouldn’t make it! Again, Stella has been going to Bloomingdale Animal Hospital since she was a puppy! How did they not see in her chart that she was not spayed! When I spoke to Dr. Ramirez after being extremely upset that they missed this he stated that Dr. Duvall was under the impression that Stella was spayed! If she looked at the X-ray like she said she did she would’ve seen plain as day her uterus! I understand people make mistakes but this was a huge one that could’ve cost my babies life! We took her to ASAP Animal Clinic for her surgery and they saved her life! I didn’t even get a phone call asking if Stella was ok or if she had the surgery or if everything went ok from Bloomingdale Animal Hospital a place we trusted and a place where she went since she was a baby! I will never bring my babies back there and my family will no longer bring their babies there!
They saved my Lala’s (Boxer) life removing a tumor on her eye with surgery. Thank you so much for all you do!
