(from Google)The perfect escape for a walk or even a one-hour trail run. Nestled in the mountains, with many scenic spots offering beautiful views of the city. The trails are quite rocky, so even though they are well maintained, proper footwear is recommended.
Great hiking spot, will definitely be back and hopefully get to the top one day.
There are multiple parking lots. I went all the way down to the very last lot and did the Freedom trail. Clean bathrooms provided. If you’re a beginner hiker then this is the trail for you. Didn’t involve a lot of climbing and wasn’t too challenging. Beautiful views of the mountains and cactus. I’d definitely do it again.
Nice trail with the panorama view of Phoenix. Bring water and take your time to enjoy the view
Piestewa Peak is such a fun hike with killer views from the top! At 2,608 feet, it’s the second-highest point in Phoenix (just behind Camelback). The trail’s rocky and can be a bit of a workout, but the panoramic views make it all worth it. Parking is decent, and the trailhead’s easy to find, but it’s a popular spot, so expect a crowd. Great for soaking up some sunshine, snapping photos, and getting those steps in. Definitely a must-do if you’re in the area! Saluti
