The Team at Aloha Medical Center is kind, compassionate and informative. Karen gave our dog the most gentle, through nail trim today. We are grateful for her patience, kindness and care. Dr Thompson provides useful information for the well being and health of our dog along with solutions for any problem he may be experiencing at the time. Thank you for taking such incredible care of our dog and teaching us how to support his needs as he ages.

TLDR; I would definitely recommend this clinic for urgent issues, as well as general wellness for your pets. From the first phone call to my most recent visit, I felt listened to and like the entire staff genuinely cared about the well-being of my pet. More in-depth review below for those like me who want to know everything lol. Previously, we had been loyal patients of another clinic for over a decade, but had to make the difficult decision to switch due to the logistics of moving and being too far a drive for our carrier-hating cat. I can’t remember the name of the gal I spoke to when booking my first appointment, but she was very kind and compassionate, and answered all of my questions. It’s nerve-racking to switch practices when you have such a longstanding rapport and trust with another vet, but I felt at ease after that initial phone call. Our first appointment was with Dr. Sanchez, who immediately addressed our main concerns (which ended up being diagnosed as a bladder stone) while providing our cat with a thorough check-up. I felt she was truly listening to everything I was saying, and she answered my questions thoroughly and clearly. I also appreciated that she let us into their treatment area to view the different scans and be with our cat while they worked. Our second appointment was with Dr. Thompson, who was just as great. Our visit with him was much shorter (because the issue had thankfully been resolved), but he was just as thorough in explaining things and answering our questions. I also wanted to mention the tech, Jamie, who had been present during our first appointment. As we were leaving the second time, she asked about our cat and expressed genuine excitement that she had improved. I imagine they see a lot of patients in the span of a month, and the fact that she remembered my Lucy and seemed truly invested in her success makes all the difference in feeling like a clinic really cares. I’ve also had a great experience with calling back in with questions in between appointments. I had been very stressed about my kitty, so I ended up forgetting to ask certain things in the moment, and those operating the phones were always helpful and took the time to make sure they were getting me the right information. The only, very minor, complaint that I can think of is that I wish they kept the door between the waiting area/entryway and their treatment area closed when they’re working on a pet. It made me a little nervous that there was no real separation between where they were working and the front door. Like I said, a minor complaint, as there were no real issues that arose from that, but it would have eased my anxiety to know that there was a barrier between my cat and the main area should she have gotten spooked and tried to bolt. Overall, I’m so glad I decided to go with this clinic. They resolved my cat’s health issue in the least invasive way possible and have been great throughout the entire experience… but with that said, no pet owner wants to be a frequent flyer at the vet because we want our babies to be healthy, so I’m very glad that I won’t be seeing them again until next year for an annual exam since their treatment plan got things resolved so quickly.

I brought my rescue puppy in for a full exam after discovering she had kennel cough. The staff accommodated me quickly to help prevent exposure to other clients, which I really appreciated. Since she’s a rescue and I don’t know her history, I came in with a list of concerns. Dr. Sanchez-Perez addressed every single one and performed a very thorough exam. I especially appreciated her direct, focused approach—she stayed on task and kept the entire visit centered on my puppy and my concerns. They also provided a quote for tooth extractions, and I was pleasantly surprised at how reasonable their rates are. Highly recommend.

The professionals at Aloha Animal Medical Center are awesome! I was lucky enough to get a visit on the fly. My kittens were evaluated and prescribed the proper medications and supplements, and they were provided to me on the spot. I’m very grateful. And I’m glad I made the choice to have my kittens’ first visit as my newly adopted pets at AAMC. We’ll be back for all of our kitty care.

After adopting a cat, my partner and I were recommended this veterinary center by a friend who also owns a cat and lives in the area. We had to take our cat in recently due to bumps forming on her skin, and the appointment process was really smooth, facilitated by a very patient staff. Due to holiday season and rainy day traffic, we were ten minutes late but we were accomodated without a problem. Both the technician and the doctor seemed to have a natural "bedside manner" with animals. Our cat is particularly anxious and fussy, of which they were very understanding, and they did their best to make our pet feel safe and calm without frustration. We were able to get an explanation and medication for the issue right away. Overall a great experience and we will come back as needed.
