Such an underrated beach. If you think Caribbean paradise this pretty much marks every box. We went three times in a week and it we found an own ”private” beach every time. Very warm water as well. Quite a few mosquitoes so bring you repellent spray! Tip: You can walk both right or left from the parking to find places to spend your day at.
We had a great time, our first time kayaking out in the ocean! So much another than the choppy waters of Minnesota. Lol! It was great to see the brown pelicans and the mangroves. 🥰
Bring bug spray and careful walking, you'll see hermit crabs EVERYWHERE. Son enjoyed it, the beach is really calm and shallow. Parking is limited so be here early to enjoy the morning or come in the evening and watch the sunset.
I hate that im writing this review cause this beach is so awesome and I want it all to myself, I went on a Monday and it was a quiet beautiful day, there was a wedding ceremony, a family photo shoot, families with their kids on jet skis. There is a golf course and a couple of condos in the area. Other than that is a great place to come with the family.
