Hans Christian Andersen Park

The park is great. It's got walking trails and nice bathrooms close to the play structure. There is quite a lot of wildlife-hawks and wood peckers. Really nice area if you want to have a picnic or small gathering.

I brought my own picnic lunch from Trader Joe's (located in Agoura Hills, off the Route 101 freeway) and ate lunch on the picnic table in a pleasant park of the Hans Christian Andersen.

Hans Christian Park is a large park settled near neighborhoods. There is ample parking, many amenities, a playground and surrounded by an all grassy area. 🚻 Restrooms 🐕 This park is ideal to bring your dogs to 🧺 MANY Benches for picnics or sitting. 🏞 Large Grass areas 🌳 MANY Trees for shade or climbing 🚗 Parking lot is huge and wraps around the park 💧 Water Fountain 🗑 Trash bins Handball Courts 🎾 Tennis Courts 🏀 Basketball Courts ⚾️ Baseball Diamonds ⚽️ Soccer Field Pickleball Courts 🛹 Large Skate Park 🚲 Trail or path thru the park 🦋 Nature Trail 👣 🛝 1 Playground Unit The playground is surrounded by a wood chipped area with a climbing rock wall, 2 adult swings, a music wall with bongo drums and 3 slides, plus a Fireman Pole. This is an excellent Park to come on your own to come picnic with your significant other or your family and kids. They have many tables and multiple picnic areas at this park. Not to mention they have a skate park for the kids and there's picnic tables right next to the skatepark.. They have multiple Santa Maria style barbecue grills. This park can accommodate small to large groups skatepark for the kids, a jungle gym for the toddlers

Cute park in Solvang. It's walkable from the main part of town, but once you get inside there's a few hills you'll need to tackle. Good playground for the little ones with plenty of shaded areas to have a picnic. There is also a skate park inside. You can definitely drive in, there plenty of parking and it's free to enter
