(from Google)The wife and I tried this spot last night and were, honestly, truly surprised with how good – and creative – the food was. The menu offers a pretty wide variety of options suitable for all the "moods" (hand food, fork and knife food, appetizers, etc.). I had the Brisket Stack; my wife the Chicken and Waffles. Both were excellent, with good portion sizes and some imagination in the ingredients. Even the house-made mint chocolates were notably better than most store-bought competitors. And the best part was that none of this came at the expense of friendly and attentive service. So, given the chance, we will definitely return.
Went for breakfast on a Saturday morning and was not disappointed! Fast and kind service, fair pricing, delicious food! We ordered the chicken & waffles with side of cheese grits and biscuits & gravy with fried chicken. They even brought out chocolate mints with the bill. What a great place, would definitely return!
Me and my friend were looking for a brunch spot and found this little hidden gem. The service was extremely fast and efficient and not the mention the food was great. I ordered the shrimp& and grits which were about $20, but worth the price. Will recommend this to others.
Billi was great. Excellent service. Friendly. Nice little spot. Outside seating. Food was delicious. Had the grill dish w/crab balls. Shrimp and grits was delicious. Clean atmosphere. Bathroom was clean. Tried the Apple Cinnamon Fizz. Light and refreshing. Will definitely come again.
Found the village corner, Comfort, kitchen and bar because of its ratings on Google and was not disappointed. There were four of us and each ordered a different part of the menu and each one of the dishes was very tasty and delicious. The sliced fried chicken on top of a salad and chicken salad was very tender and tasty. The broccoli Caesar salad was interesting and the two salads that were ordered were plenty large. This was a good place to catch a bite to eat. A cute little bear caught my eye and found it is filled with “hot honey” which is good on many different foods and is a mixture of Texas Pete’s and honey.
