(from Google)Nice hike with amazing views 🤩🌄🚵🏽
This place is a hidden gem. The weather conditions were foggy so we didn’t get to see the views many hikers write about but it was still a beautiful hike. It seems like a popular hiking spot as the parking lot was full when we finished the hike. There was a bird watching group there today. I will definitely hike here again.
I hiked here today and had such a wonderful experience. The scenery is wide open and calming, and the views of the valley are gorgeous. It’s the perfect place for a 2-hour loop hike, long enough to feel like an adventure but not overwhelming. I also came across a field of marigolds on the way to the location that completely mesmerized me. If you love open landscapes, wildlife, and peaceful trails, this preserve is absolutely worth visiting. You can also check out “Morgan Hill’s Wild, Open Vista - Coyote Valley” on YouTube.
Great hikes for all! Cows, birds, deer and coyotes if you go later in the day.
Myself and my kids went for a hike with friends to this place. The valley is quite beautiful with the Golden poppies at the foot of the mountains. The hike was an easy one even for the kids. The weather was hot on that day but yet it was windy and shaded at places, which we enjoyed very much. There are few benches on the way to sit and enjoy the view, also to take a quick rest if needed. We took more than 2 hours to complete the trail loop stopping for snacks and the view once we reached the top. All in all we all thoroughly enjoyed the hike.
