Harold Moore Park

Good cat fishing. More of a sports complex than a park. Avoid bringing little ones, nothing for them to do.

Nice baseball/softball fields and basketball courts. Great free launch for small watercraft. The Susquehanna is very shallow in many places. Thank you Vestal Parks Department.

Nice softball fields. There are four fields total along with a concession stand, restrooms, two full size basketball courts and a small playground.

Finding the park is difficult. There isn't a sign on the main road that is seen. Parking is not ideal. Not enough parking spaces and getting in and out of the park is frustrating if people park where there are no parking signs. The fields do not have sideline fencing either. The bathroom was clean and well kept.

There is a boat launch area to the river off the corner of the parking lot and 2 baseball/socker fields plus a basketball court and a kids play area. This can be a busy place with multiple school games going on. Seasonal bathrooms.
