This store demonstrates the best of shopping local small businesses: it has a broad variety of products and the prices aren’t noticeably different than larger chains, but the thing that truly sets this place apart is the staff. They are welcoming and helpful, and very clearly care about the animals and humans who enter their store. When they were out of stock of an item I needed, they placed a special order and called me as soon as it arrived. Those thoughtful touches are what set this store apart, and keep me coming back for in-person shopping experiences. A community treasure!

I had such a great experience with Olivia at Healthy Pets in Austin! From the moment I walked in, she was incredibly friendly, patient, and truly knowledgeable about everything I needed. She took the time to answer my questions, helped me choose the right products for my pet, and made sure I felt confident before leaving. Thank you!

Great first time experience here! Kendall and Chris were both super friendly, helpful, and professional. They helped get us squeezed in to wash our smelly pup right before closing (thank goodness!!). Very clean store, positive atmosphere, and great team. We'll be back for another wash next week and try out some new dog food as well. Thanks Healthy Pet Team :)

Great place to give your dogs a good scrubbin'. Healthy Pets is the place to go for all your animal's needs and a great place to give your best friend(s) a do-it-yourself bath. Great staff and clean establishment. Jack and Chica are crowd favorites!!!

I have a senior Chihuahua who I am apparently the butler for.... She is constantly changing up what she will and won't eat. Thank goodness for this place they always have something that I can get that little bugger to go for! Friendly staff, great hours, and spectacular selection. Prices are reasonable and on the dry food that I feed the wee beastie, the 10th bag is free! They have super cute and really really really warm dog clothes.. The problem with a lot of places with their selection of pet sweaters is they may be cute, but they're not actually warm. There was a surprise cold snap one day, and my girl was freezing. I was able to get her the most amazing little hoodie sweater in fleece that she still wears 2 years later. They also have some really great treats that you can buy the amount you want. But the selection is incredible and I really really love this place..... apparently so does my finicky pupper❤
