Vanalden Park

Nice park tucked away in a residential neighborhood! Was a surprise find as I was checking out the Wilkinson Center for my dad. The park is next to the center and is well kept with lots of trees and picnic tables. Nice place to enjoy some California warmth and relax with a good book 📕 💕!

There were no enclosures for dogs. Some of the dogs even on leash were aggressive. I will not return with my dog Sassy.

it’s just a big green patch, nothing more nothing less. i wish there were picnic benches. they have a big parking lot that’s saved me many times when i have to get away from my roommates and need peace and quiet.

Nice park, easy to find parking on the street, clean.

Definitely secluded so it's a nice place to get away from the noise of the city. However, it wasn't very well kept and had some graffiti and there's a homeless camp right over the fence. In fact, I saw someone in the camp practicing throwing a large knife in to a tree for about an hour; not exactly comforting.
