Stormrunners Tavern

We were in Florida for a quick weekend and wanted to grab some lunch at Stormrunners Tavern while we were in town. I am glad this was the place we chose, as it was fantastic! What we got: *Mango Meltdown - A frozen drink of mango and strawberry flavors, so refreshing on a warm day at a waterfront restaurant! *Category 5 Crab Tots - neither of us really eat tater tots, but this menu item sounded too good to pass up. I'm glad we went with it because it was hearty and flavorful with all the tots, cheese, and lots of crab! *Crab Cakes - really good crab cakes, with plenty of crab. *Twisted Cauliflower - our server warned us these would be spicy, but we were okay with that. They definitely had a kick from thai sauce and hot honey, but nothing that made it uncomfortable to eat, the right amount of spice. We had ours grilled, and enjoyed every bite. Needless to say, we ordered a fantastic meal of appetizers to split while enjoying the waterfront view on a beautiful day. If you are in the area, I highly recommend!

Went to Gulfport for the day with my son and my husband. We chose to eat here around 4 ish on a Saturday. Decided to check out the 2nd floor and when we got up there the view was beautiful! It is seat yourself, so we grabbed a table. Waited a little bit and didn’t see any servers so I went up to the bar to ask if this is where we order the food, the bartender told us someone would be over and handed us menus. I asked about a kids menu and they do not have one, but they did have a few options for kids to verbally tell us. As we sat there waiting to be greeted, we saw multiple tables get up and leave because of no one getting greeted by a server and saw a large party walk out as well from waiting to get a table cleaned for them to be able to sit. Missed out on some money right there. We were on the verge of leaving as well, but then one of the bartenders came and greeted us to get our order. My son got the corn dogs and my husband said his blue cheese burger was good. I got the tater tots with the crab meat and queso, suuuper yummy. But honestly, this spot is good for just grabbing a beer from the bar and getting a seat along the rail for the view and not being in any kind of rush. Can not comment on how service is on the first floor! Did see some pool tables on the first floor in a back room by the stairs

One of my favorite spots on Gulfport Waterfront. The burgers are great actually. Beer selection ok. Love the second floor. Great views. We will be back

I wish I tried this spot sooner! Such a great view! Food was good and reasonably priced. Service was excellent. Overall perfect vibes! There is a wing special on Mondays, and lunch special during the week.

Nice local bar! Had 2 beers and wings- $23. Loved the atmosphere, bar seating provided lots of conversations with locals. Good time and good food.
