(from Google)We have been coming here for years. Sandra does a wonderful job grooming Toto. And he can be difficult. he loves her and she loves him
My family has been taking our two cats and two cockatiel birds to Best Friends in Prairie View for many years whenever we go on vacation. We always feel like our animals, who are truly our best friends, are well taken care of. Michelle, the manager, cares so much about the animals, and it means a lot knowing they are in good hands! The cats always seem happy to be home after their stay and never seem stressed. They are always in high spirits and ready to greet us with love. Highly recommend Best Friends in Prairie View.
We can’t say enough great things about Best Friends Pet Care in Prairie View. Our goldendoodle, Sophie, has stayed there many times for both boarding and day camp, and every experience has been outstanding. Michelle and her staff are incredibly friendly, attentive, and genuinely dedicated to the dogs in their care. It’s clear how much they truly love what they do—Sophie is always excited to go and comes home happy and well cared for. The peace of mind we have knowing she’s in such capable, caring hands is priceless. Best Friends Pet Care feels like a second home for her, and we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking for exceptional pet care.
We love Best Friends! Have been taking my dogs here for boarding and grooming for 15 years. The staff are fantastic, they know my dogs by name, always greeting us with a smile, my dogs are always excited to come here and I love that the place doesn’t have the typical kennel smell. The groomers do an amazing job of deshedding my German Shephards. Even after we moved farther away I continue to bring my dog here.
I was considering boarding at this pet hotel; however, after a tour, no way I would board my animals or a friend's pet. Prior to the property being Best Friends Pet Hotel, it was a veterinarian hospital with kennels. The building needs a lot of TLC and a deep cleaning. The building was cooler than I would have liked it to be for any cat. The old vet check-up rooms are cat rooms that lack any cat towers, cat blankets, or anything that would make it cozy and warm to stay in. They are just empty vet examination rooms that cats can stay in. The cat condos were dirty, for example, the condo's glass had film and smudge marks on them. The kennel area needs a makeover and deep cleaning. I have seen animal shelters maintain better cleanliness and building standards. It doesn't help that the building is a little run-down and going through renovations, either. In February, they are going to schedule to start renovations. It needs a lot of work and a professional deep-cleaning service to bring it up to a higher standard. You can bring your own pet supplies, which is nice. The price is reasonable. In the meantime, no, I would not board my cat or dogs at this pet hotel.
