Paws Away from Home

I first met Carole over 20 years ago at a dog park, and we’ve been friends ever since. She has always had a natural connection with animals and a genuine passion for nature and life. When I found out she and her family started a dog daycare, it felt like the perfect fit for her. Carole has personally cared for my dogs several times when I’ve been away, and I’ve seen firsthand the love, attention, and care she gives—not just to her own pets, but to every animal she’s around. I can’t recommend Paws Away From Home enough. I truly trust Carole and her family, and I know they will treat your pets like one of their own.

My dog loves coming here! We’ve been using this wonderful service for a few months. I love that it’s a small daycare, at a residence, more individual attention. We can do a full day or overnight. I feel very good bringing my dog to Carole.

It has been such a blessing finding Carol and Paws Away from Home. She has such a nice setup and really shows so much care for our fur baby that we know he is in the best hands with Carol and supports. Highly recommend coming here!!

I was so pleased to find a home based doggy daycare near my house. The most loving people who follow my feeding instructions perfectly. After my dog had been there for awhile Carole agreed to board him for an extended time on short notice. All the dogs get along and play well together.

Our new dog, Brody, joined our household in June of 2025. He is a wonderful dog in all ways except that he suffers from separation anxiety and always needs to be with people. We tried several private and commercial daycares with mixed success. Eventually, with found Paws Away from Home and haven’t looked back! Carol is fantastic with him and has a excellent day care facility set up in her home. She doesn’t take more than 4 dogs and they have access to indoor spaces (couches!) and a securely fenced yard. Paws Away from Home offers great scheduling flexibility, 7 days a week, at a very reasonable price. Brody can’t wait to visit Carol and comes home happy, tired and relaxed.
