(from Google)I came here for a new experience and found that i was welcomed by a discruntled employee. When i asked for the order of the "Mac and Cheese" they stated the burger or the side. I stated the burger and then they commented that they had 3 "MEN" who could not clearly make the distinction. When faced with the clarification of the mac and cheese and "grilled" mac and cheese side they stated an agressive comment towards me with insult and laughed. I also made a small comment when given the wrong beer saying "i hope you dont throw that away" they then aggressively stated "dont tell me how to do my job". Whether they were having a bad day or if they generally hated men which based on their comment i felt unwelcomed. They were rude and unnecessarily aggressive. I didnt enjoy my time here. When i left i tried to brush these incidents off she was very much still unruly. I dont recommend coming here but if you do please avoid this person at all cost. They at the time has dyed hair and glasses. Food was well enough and beer was okay with the exception that they poured the beer with the faucet spout inside the beer. Which was unhygenic and poor practice.
Great Oakland vibe. Excellent food and beverages. Love that it’s dog friendly. Looking forward to more sunny days on their large outdoor patio. But they also have fire pits for those colder evenings. Perfect spot for First Fridays.
When we arrived, there was some kind of clothing swap events. We ordered a kono and fade 2 black and split an order of small fries. Delicious! Very juicy burgers. Recommend eating the burger over the fries to function as a sauce for the fries. My burger was big enough to be satiating but not overly large to the point of overeating to the point of discomfort.
What an Oakland classic. This spot is how you know that you're in Oakland. All you need is 3 brick walls, some graffiti/murals, and a beer. They got good drinks here and I would recommend this spot during first Fridays for the cultural experience. 8.7/10 Pro Tip: get lit before come for cost saving
A great find! We wanted a bite to eat before seeing a concert at the Fox Theater and I am always up for a new beer adventure! The food was good ... It came out from the kitchen quickly! Nice variety of beers. A good place for hanging out!
