Paradise Pet Hotel & Day Spa

My parents took their golden retriever here for grooming and bath. When they picked her up after her appointment, the dog was limping and barely able to use her back legs. She wouldn’t jump up into the car like she usually does. She wouldn’t walk up the steps either. Less than 24 hours later she started vomiting. Something horrible happened to her while under their care and my parents will never go there again. Please think twice before taking your fur babies to Paradise Pets!

I’ve brought my dog here a few times. The first visit was for a Furminator treatment, and I brought him back a few days later for a brush-out. They took him back but only brushed him for maybe five minutes — he looked barely touched. The extra brush was complimentary, which was nice, but it just wasn’t done well. Most recently, I scheduled a full bath and added on extras, leaving detailed instructions since our dog sitter was doing drop-off and pickup. Unfortunately, the appointment was changed, and he only received a basic bath — no brush-out, no extras. No one contacted me about the change. Just disappointing overall.

We often take our Libby here for boarding while taking trips. This last visit however, she was being a very picky eater. Jackie (owner) contacted us to make us aware and assured us that she was fine, just being picky about her food and advised alternatives to get her to eat better. She checked in with us every day while we were gone. To have an owner take so much interest in the well-being of our dog is very comforting! All of the staff here are great as well. Thank you Jackie and your staff for caring so much!!!

My Golden Retriever likes it here. He comes home tired, for the energy he has for 1yo, going here for day care has made my life a bit easier. He socializes with other dogs better. The staff is friendly and cares for the pets, tried their boarding too, it’s pretty convenient and decent charges.

Our puppy had a good first day, too funny the sent him home w a report card. Staff very friendly but getting info was not smooth, for every single bit of general info, I had to ask a separate question, they would give me the shortest answer, then next question...it was a bit weird. Generally positive interaction though, lobby looks amazing, and it's more expensive than k9! $24 if we leave food. We'll go again but occasionally. For regular days we'll stay w k9 country club.
