South Lawson Park is a community park offering a peaceful green space for relaxation and outdoor activities. --- ✅ Pros: - Well-maintained walking trails and open grassy areas. - Good for picnics and casual outdoor fun. - Quiet and family-friendly atmosphere. - Adequate playground equipment for kids. - Safe and clean environment.
Love this park! A lot of space to run and play soccer if you’re into that! Small playground for younglings but not so much for bigger kids. Quiet & well kept
Poquoson did themselves proud with this park. Lots of parking, handicap accessible, wonderful facilities. On Aug 21, 2019, the Wildlife center of Virginia set a young Bald Eagle free. Lots of folk turbed out for the release. Kids loved it as well as the public in general.
It was nice to get out there has small playground also would be nicer if the city put some more money out there to build it bigger for children to play more consistently. Possibly a small bathroom building with water fountains and more physical activities pieces to the park possibly add a concession booth to the small building. Just some small ideas for the future.
