Waters park is a little postage stamp of shade nestled off of Seminole Rd (just barely) and you can hear trafic zipping by at most hours. Nice place to rest from a walk or outing with your pet. It is a couple hundred yards away from the beach (not sure why some reviewers noted the beach access). Beach is a short walk due east but there is no marked or dedicated path to the beach access point which is along Beach Ave.

Loved Atlantic Beach FL! Friendly, helpful lifeguard on duty. She got help for my companion when he had health issues. Beach wasn't overcrowded, either.

This is a hidden gem as far as beach access goes. Parking is excellent and never full, always shaded. The little boardwalk out to the ocean is cozy and feels enchanted. The beach is ever changing, sometimes the sand is piled up like a ridge, other times it's perfectly flat. It isn't overcrowded and you can even spot dolphins on a pretty regular basis.

Halloween Florida style! Beautiful beach super clean and soft fine sand! It was an amazing day for the doggo her first time on the beach!

This park is just doing the best it can. It’s ok for what it is, just a little green space with a bench swing and picnic tables to tie your shoe on or rest for a bit between trying to pretend that running in the heat of the day is fun. There are some convenient overflow parking spots and a funny little drive-thru area to do something quaint like mail a letter or pick up a real newspaper. It is definitely mosquito-infested during the hotter months and has the potential to be creepy but so far so good for this little park keeping it real and not making the headlines of the local news.
