Petco Grooming

My dog loves her groomer Ja'Naya! From the newington store Gabriella is always happy to see her. I'm so grateful for Ja'Naya she treats my dog so nicely!!! She also does an excellent job!!!! Thank you, Emily

I can’t say this was a good experience. My dog had long hair that needed to be brushed. He was a little matted so I agreed to pay twice the charge for them to untangle him. This was supposed to take at lease an hour but 15 minutes after i dropped off the dog at the store, they call me that the dog was done. They didn’t comb the dog at all, shaved his all body and even left his ears matted. I paid almost 100 for something I could have done myself at home

I took my dog to Petco for grooming at this location, and Elizabeth T. was the groomer. Unfortunately, my dog ended up with a wound that I wasn’t informed about at the time of pickup. I only discovered the injury once we got home. When I called the next day, I was disappointed by the lack of communication and transparency. I reached out to the store immediately after this happened. Unfortunately, I did not see any real accountability on their part. During the phone call, after calling a couple pf times and speaking with one of the managers, I was told to take my dog to the vet if needed and that the store would cover the cost if necessary. What is most upsetting is that at pickup I was allowed to pay, was helped with putting on a vest I had purchased, and was told how well my dog did during his grooming, yet no one mentioned that he had been injured. This lack of transparency and accountability is both disappointing and unacceptable. I trusted your team with my dog’s care, and honest communication when something goes wrong is expected.

Chica, my pomeranian chihuahua/pomchi was really beautifully groomed. Not too long and not to short. I was happy and will return
