(from Google)This is our preferred dog park because it's large but not so big that your dog ends up an actual mile away from you, it's fully fenced, there are a few different places to sit, big trees provide shade, and it seems to be regularly mulched which prevents it from getting overly dusty or muddy. There is also a water spiget. UPDATE: I deducted a star because after going there for months we noticed that there is very little oversight of the dogs by their owners, and few intervene when needed.
Good dog park, Canine Corral, part of Belleview Park in Englewood/Littleton. Wood chips and lots of space, near creek, good birdwatching also. Picnic space, some shades
4/5 Stars ➖ Good dog park. Not far from River Point shopping (Costco, Target). Picnic tables for the humans. Free parking. Pretty big and fenced in. Pretty responsible owners. Usually pretty clean. Only drawback is it’s sort and gets muddy with some puddles when it’s wet and can be icy in winter. There are water bowls and poop bags and a water faucet in the summer. UPDATE Jan 28, 2020. New wood chips have been put down across the entire surface. No longer muddy! 👏
Good city dog park, most dogs and people are friendly. The park is basically a fenced in acre and a half rectangle with vision to all sides. The ground is covered in wood chips which help with pick up and mud mitigation. A couple trees provide some shade for the summer but it definitely gets hot, luckily it’s near the river and a stream runs next to it so there are plenty of dog dipping spots. Water can be found on site in the summer, but is shut off for the winter months. My dog likes this park there is usually a medium to large group of other dogs, plenty of play friends that tire him out, so I like this park.
Came here during my visit to Ruby Hill. My dogs seemed to enjoy themselves, and there was a good variety of dogs ranging in different sizes. In the summer the trees can provide shade, and the dogs leave fairly clean since the ground is mulch-covered. It has an obstacle course, and a water pump!
