Svob Park

The girls love this small playground

The Tempe.police have rented houses in Svob park and are protecting the construction projects with drones. We've had construction projects here for 10 years. Tempe built two gondolas to shade the homeless so now they're living here too. Now Svob park has the highest crime rate in the county.

The park it self it great. The homeless people leaving their trash, Crack pipes, needles and empty liquor bottles are the problem. There has been a influx of homeless people coming to this park for about 3/4 weeks. There are multiple bus stops at this park as well as kids playing football, and ALOT of people walking their dogs or just trying to enjoy a nice walk. I caught a homeless person looking into my front windows, I chased him off. I had another doing meth on the hood of my vehicle, I chased him off and multiple instances of smoking pot at a public park (which is illegal) I urge other residents to call the police every time you see a homeless camp starting to be set up...before it's gets really out of control.

Stopped by this park with my son just passing thru, it was a pretty cool 😎 park for the children and just for laying out on the grass, a lot of shaded areas just for that! Will definitely be stopping by here again ☺️
