The Classy Canine

I have a service dog, who has had extensive training. He has always struggled with reactivity from negative experiences, such as being attacked by other large dogs. We have worked with other trainers, but they always train. We started working with Heather and staff at The Classy Canine for the last 2 months. What a difference. We aren't just training, we are changing my dog"s experiences! I have never seen my dog walk confidently into a room of other dogs and have interest in meeting them too! I cannot thank them enough and highly recommend The Classy Canine to anyone with a dog. This is also the most affordable canine service we have experienced in 8 years of working with dog trainers. My dog has really bad anxiety and has to receive medication nightly. I was really scared of leaving him with someone for those reasons. Heather alleviated all my fears as i got to see not only how past clients benefited but my own dog. As someone with a dog who has special needs it was really nice to see those needs taken care of and not have to worry about him.

The Classy Canine is definitely my go to for boarding and training! They are so good to our dog Cleo and she always loves to go! They definitely treat her like she is one of their own! We have done immersive boarding several times and are planning on doing some day training. They have worked with her on place and break, leash and crate training and socializing with other dogs. We are so excited to see all that she will learn from them!

Syntax LOVES going to his Stay, Train, Play classes with Heather - when we pull up his tail begins wagging and he switches into his “training” mode. Heather is communicative and responsive with any questions or delays, and she is great with navigating all of Syntax’s quirks. I’m thrilled with the change in him with this additional training boost to his routine. The Classy Canine offers a fantastic variety of classes but also other options like STP where my dog can use his brain while I’m at work.
