(from Google)It's a lovely hiking trip. Kids and pet friendly. Parking is limited on the sides of the road. There are self fee service if you decide to park on the edge uphill.so you don't have to walk all the way to the booth by the river to purchase a ticket.
WOW what we have spotted there wild bear with her cute baby on grassy slop on the other side of the river. Amazing
Really great little hike out to Clementine Dam. The base of the dam is a really nice picnic spot, too, and few people go down there even though it's not hard to descend the trail that leads to the river. Definitely worth the hour-long walk!
Nice moderate hike to a dam and lake. Lots of people and parking was kind of hectic but we went at one o'clock. There were some bikers but I wouldn't recommend biking as there were just too many people hiking. 4.5 miles round trip. There are some opportunities to go down to the river which would look more inviting in the summer!
The Lake Clementine hike is a fantastic outdoor experience, perfect for those looking to enjoy nature and stunning views. Approximately 3.5 to 4 miles round trip. The trail offers breathtaking views of Lake Clementine and the surrounding landscape. The trail is primarily dirt with some rocky sections. There are shaded areas along the way, but some parts are exposed. Be sure to stop and take photos along the way. At the lake, you can enjoy some relaxing time by the water, perfect for a picnic or just soaking in the serenity. The views of the lake and surrounding hills are stunning, making this hike great for photography enthusiasts. Overall, the Lake Clementine hike is a rewarding trek for both novice and experienced hikers.
