(from Google)I honestly don’t want to share this place—it’s a hidden gem! A gentle little float, shallow lake water, clean and tidy surroundings, and flush toilets! But the big downside is that the parking lot is really small, and there’s often no space.
Super lovely park and a great place to start along the Greenway. I love sitting on the rocks beside the creek and dipping my feet in on a hot day. The atmosphere is serene and Peaceful, especially for the middle of Longmont
We love Discovery Island play area! It's behind the big box stores and just off of The St Vrain Greenway, SE of the D-Barn.
Fun place. Bring a raft/tube, food, sun shade etc. and you can easily stay 4+ hours of fun. People are good at social distancing.
Fun place to play in the water on a hot day. Lots of goose poop though. Town should get rid of the geese. Wear shoes, the bottom of the river is rocky.
