My pup could not be any happier! We struggled at a daycare previously but we have found our place. My pup has a ton of energy and loves to play so he needed a format that would let him be a dog. Paws In Time not only understands your pups needs but the staff is kind and amazing making you feel completely at ease knowing your fur baby is in great hands.

I have been bringing my dogs to Paws in Time for 14 years. I would not leave them at any other daycare or boarding. The staff loves my dogs, and I know they are well taken care of while at Paws in Time. This last winter, my husband was in hospice at home, and I called Paws in Time for help at the last minute with my dogs. I accidently called the owner directly, and without hesitation, she said she would arrange the pickup of my dogs and anything else that I needed. They are truly an extension of our family!

We have been going to Paws in Time for the last 5 years. Both of our dogs participated in puppy lessons starting at 6months, in addition to private lessons with Julie herself. My Bernese Mountain dogs need a place to run off all of their energy, even when they pretend to not have any, and this place has so much room for them (both indoors and outdoors). If it was up to them, they would love to see their friends every single day, however, we try to bring them about 2x a week for some fun adventure. I will continue to recommend this place to all dog owners. Thank you to the staff for always caring for our dogs so so well! It gives us so much comfort leaving them in your care each time.

I know reviews are important, but in a community like the Tri Cities, word of mouth is even more important and I’ll be telling everyone I can to stay away from Paws In Time in West Chicago. I tried to board my two dogs and was told my rescue, Murphy, wasn’t allowed simply because she’s 30% pit bull. She’s been with us since she was six months old, has completed two obedience courses (basic and advanced), and has never shown aggression. Banning an entire breed is prejudice and shortsighted. I’ll take my business to a place that judges dogs on their behavior, not a stereotype.

Our family has had the best experience here. I found this place by driving down Fabyan a couple of months ago, and decided to look into their services. I was very impressed by their customer service and the care and concern they showed us from day 1. We have done grooming, and our pup just went there for a half day this weekend. It’s obvious from the phone calls to the moment you walk in that that these are people who love their job and love pets…so friendly and family oriented. I took a tour of the whole facility to consider future boarding, and also completed the required pet evaluation. They sent me a video of my puppy during her eval to let me know she was having a great time. Just above and beyond! Every person I talk with has been working there for years, and that’s always a signal to me that they love what they do! I appreciated how down to earth it was and they instantly felt like family. If you’re wondering about Paws In Time, or have a concern, I’d highly recommend visiting them and getting a tour. I think you’ll get a sense of their quality of care and what quality people they are! They are open and honest about their services and facility.
