After canceling our original snorkeling plans, we decided to wander through El Yunque National Forest instead 🌿✨ It’s the only tropical rainforest in the U.S. National Forest system, filled with lush hiking trails, waterfalls, and endless jungle views 🌧️🌴 Definitely one of Puerto Rico’s must-visit natural gems — the kind of place where you slow down, breathe deep, and just let nature do its thing.

Beautiful rainforest that is the only rainforest in the US natural park directory. If you plan to hike up to the top, know that youll pass a good number of water falls and this is a rainforest so it will rain and the trail gets muddy. Bring good shoes as the rocks can be slippery and you can hurt yourself if not careful. But once you reach the top and Pasa the final set of stairs, enjoy the view

Lots to do here, had a great day exploring and hiking. We chose not to do any of the guided tours and took them on ourselves. Had a blast, visited and hiked most of the hot spots. Have fun and enjoy, you can do it too.

Amazing! Beautiful rainforest. We'll maintained and accessible. Staff at the visitor center were friendly and the facility was clean, informative, and offered great information. Highly recommend visiting. There are frequent locations to pull off and see various sites. Was easy to navigate for first time visitors but roads are narrow, so use caution when driving.

One of the best things to do in PR, visit the National Park the Rain Forest 🌳 Areas well mark, easy to access for all levels of hiking experience; a couple of stops with bathrooms available, food machines with some parking. Welcome center it’s a must to understand and learn all related information. $8 pp There is NO other charges to access the trials and recreational areas.
