Emily is a lovely, kind person and a fantastic trainer. I have had several foster dogs in the last few years, and a foster fail. Emily is very knowledgeable, and her training focuses on building trust and positive experiences for each dog. I’ve seen them all grow in confidence and become much happier dogs, even when it may have seemed like a tough challenge initially. I highly recommend Emily.

Emily has been exactly what us + our 1 year old aussie doodle needed. At around 10 months old all of a sudden our happy confident pup became riddled with general anxiety and became reactive to new people. He could barely handle a car ride. After working with a few other behavioral trainers and not getting anywhere, we found Emily. Finally someone who provided more than just saying to try additional enrichment. She was flexible and understanding to set up a situation where she could evaluate what was going on several times, and has patiently helped provided concrete science backed approaches to help with navigating adolescent dog reactivity. The path to managing and helping an anxious dog is long, but Emily will stay with you providing education and empowerment through it all.

I can not say enough great things about Emily, her skills, her knowledge set, her empathy, or her training style. She spent thirty minutes with my young field lab and not only assessed him accurately, but knew exactly what he needed in order to not only thrive in training, but to be a happy, well balanced dog. Any of you who know field labs know they are extremely high energy and apt to be bored and difficult to live with without physical exercise and prodigious amounts of varied intellectual stimulation. In other words, they can be a handful. Emily communicated with Jasper beautifully and was able to get him to calmly walk on a leash through our hardware store with care and grace (and a lot of positive reinforcement). Better yet, she trained ME to be able to continue the work at home so that I can continue to reinforce Jasper's skills and positive development. We also have a "project" lab at home who has a whole host of medical and neurological issues. She is astounding with Ellie, kind and patient, and she cleverly and creatively works with Ellie's difficulties (which makes ours a much happier and calmer household). Emily is a a joy to work with, kind, funny, and so, so talented. Anyone would be lucky to work with her!

All my dogs love Emily. She has been an excellent trainer not only for my dogs but for myself as well. I totally recommend her as a compassionate and knowledgeable positive reinforcement trainer.

I wish I could give more than 5 stars. I couldn't recommend Emily enough! Her training is kind and effective. I had an extremely reactive puppy, poor thing lunged at everyone she saw. Before 4 months of age she bit a couple people. I was using a trainer my vets recommended and she was getting worse. I felt so defeated. Until someone recommended Emily to me. I immediately loved how Emily trained. My puppy responded very well to her. It took some time and consistentcey but I started to see progress! Not only did Emily help us undo the bad from the previous trainer but by 7 months old she was neutral to people. Having a reactive dog is a special kind of difficult. I was very lucky to have had Emilys help when I did. I feel more confident in understanding my dogs needs.
