Emerald Dog Obedience Club Inc

I have loved training at Emerald Dog Obedience Club. It has been an extremely positive experience and I have learned so much as a handler and about my dog. The trainers are positive, make light of frustrating situations, but set expectations for your dog and know what they can accomplish. I would recommend Emerald Dog Obedience to anyone looking to gain skills in handling and training with your dog and to gain the tools to work on obedience.

I found the trainer TR Pagel to be very rude and condescending. She may be a great dog trainer but not a good "people trainer" which she was supposed to be doing. I expressed my concerns about her strategies but never heard anything. They probably have other great trainers but definitely avoid all her classes! I had high hopes for this place, but will never go back. Try The Training Spot instead!

Trainer was confusing, rude, and mean. She was nasty to people who didn't understand the directions, and when people asked questions. Completely crushed all joy I had found training my dog, and made me want to quit. I learned more from youtube.

I am a member. We help each other with dog training and have some fun social events. The club offers classes to the general public as well as members.
