(from Google)I took my dog to get an anal tumor removed. I live in the states (CO). To take him to a specialist to get his exams to see if it was something that would be operated on, it would be around $3,600. Traveling to this Vet was not my first option but it was my only one. I am grateful I found them in time and that I made the decision to go. They saved my dogs life. They were able to operate on the tumor with no complications. As well as, remove a mass above his eye and clean his teeth. All for a small price of $1,950. I have family in Juarez so I did not have to pay for room or board but it was around $200 for gas. They also kept him overnight and the price included his medication, biopsy & health certificate to cross the boarder. They were able to schedule the examination and surgery same day. Within 24 hours I was able to be on the road. I do recommend you bring a bed, extra bedding and anti diarrhea medication for your pet if they are going to get a similar surgery. They were great and the doctor was so professional and kind. He was honest and showed me photos of the whole process. If you are thinking about it, please don’t hesitate to go. Way cheaper than the states and better service.
I took my friend to get her little poodle mix to get her teeth inspected. The doggie had really bad periodontal disease and vets in the US were charging about $2500 to take care of it. This vet is close to the bridge with good reviews so we came over here and they went above and beyond for our little friend! They left her teeth like new! I will say they are on the pricey side compared to other vets in Juarez, but still a lot lower than US vets and better quality.
Friendly staff. Doctors are extremely professional and knowledgeable, kind enough to explain the diagnosis and the treatment/management. My senior dog is getting treated for a heart murmur and recently had a deep teeth cleaning/oral surgery. I highly recommend their services.
A quarter of the price and the doctor is amazing. Replaced both of my dogs acl’s. Explained in details about what was done and showed before and after X-rays. So glad we went. Thank you for saving my dog! I hope everyone sees this and goes. I would give 10 stars if I could. US prices are so inflated.
My dog Sam was diagnosed with hip dysplasia on both sides. I live in Texas and in my hometown or near areas there are no veterinarians that specialize in orthopedic surgery. My mom lives in Juarez and she was asking around and someone recommended her this place. Sam has now gone through not surgeries performed by Dr. Ruiz. He did a great job and continues to improve the treatment and procedure. He takes the time to talk to us before and after each surgery with very clear instructions and after care. Sam has recovered very well and fast and I can definitely see the improvement in her health and comfort. Both doctors are very nice and understanding as well as patient in addressing all our concerns. The only thing I am not completely satisfied with is that I have a hard time communicating with them over the phone, sometimes the lines sound busy and some other times they pick up but it stays silent. My mom lives in Juarez and she had to drive over to the hospital to make an appointment because neither she nor I could communicate over the phone. In general very happy and satisfied with everything and is good to know that there are places like this where we can take our fur babies to get excellent and affordable care. I would love if they started to take credit card payments, since until now it is a cash only place.
