(from Google)Nice clean park for kids to play. Slide and small playground. Not much on the way of shade though. Does have a pavilion with tables and lots of room. Right beside the trails and close enough to the water that you can enjoy that too. restroom was pretty clean at the time of visit. Dog park across the parking area.
Found this place on Google and decided to see if the fishing was any good. The trail is nice, not heavily crowded for a nice Saturday in the spring. There were a few people fishing in different spots, we made our way down about 1/4 mile past the dam and caught several good sized bluegill and sunfish. Overall a pleasant experience and would return.
Great park area with playground and facilities which were nice and clean, the trail itself did have some litter though. Spotted what I think was a river otter by the dam
Nice scenic walk. Not difficult to walk. The playground area is small. They are a couple of picnic tables as well.
Recommend using the Google app to arrive at the Trailhead. (Apple went to Costco). GREAT spot for all ages and members of the family. If walking your dog in the heat be advised some tar/paved areas do not have shade so walk 🐾 them in the grass or consider alternatives. Great for bird watching, connecting with self and nature.
