The store itself has a nice selection, and the manager is friendly and clearly loves animals. Unfortunately, the grooming service was very disappointing. I arrived at 9:05am for my appointment and was standing outside when the groomer walked up, saw me, and went inside without acknowledging me. She turned on the lights, opened the shades, and flipped the sign to “open” while I remained outside waiting. Not even a simple greeting. It set an unprofessional tone from the start. My dog was there for approximately three hours. I was never contacted when she was finished — no call, no text. I had to reach out myself because I was concerned. When I called, I was told my message wasn’t seen. Clients should not have to chase down pickup information. When my husband arrived to pick up our dog, she was in a small metal crate. We have no idea how long she had been sitting there. For $80, the grooming result did not reflect a full wash or shave. Her ears were trimmed, but she did not appear freshly groomed. On a separate visit, I also experienced poor dog handling. A dog the groomer was holding wrapped its leash around my legs twice, with no meaningful attempt to manage or correct the situation. It felt careless and unsafe. It’s unfortunate because we live on the same street and would have preferred to support a local business. However, we will not be returning for grooming services.

I went on a Saturday. It's a small but well-stocked shop. Despite being in a tourist area, they have good prices. They were friendly, and I got what I wanted.

Spent $80 for a grooming (little dog). It looked absolutely no different than when it was dropped off. The feet, the face, and basically everything looked untouched. TBH I don’t think they even gave it a bath. The place is a complete waste of money and any other shop in San Juan will do a better job.
