(from Google)EDIT: response to Owner: No I am not interested in emailing you in secret. If you can't write a proper response here then I dont need your public platitudes. I will be calling your office on Monday to request cease and desist or hear from my attorneys. See new screenshot of email for reference. Updates: Their credit collection attorneys have been stalking my Linked In to collect information about me. They charged two DEBIT transactions totaling $6,000 JUST TO ADMIT HER for a DIAGNOSIS. Hesitant to drop SIX THOUSAND DOLLARS while I was gainfully unemployed, they assured me, "don't worry. We can return your money back if she does not need much attendance. And *if she does need hefty attention, **we will let you know***." Her diagnosis: LIKELY TO LIVE @ 11:00 PM May 25th, 2025. I was told "HER ONLY HOPE IS TO ADMIT HER AND MONITOR BY RUNNING LABS AND ADMINISTRATION OF IVS AND FLUIDS." So I FOOLISHLY swiped. My quote STATES the charge is for '48 CREDIT HOURS' of veterinary monitoring/administering. I told them EXPRESSLY "I will be awake all night with my cell phone on and to PLEASE CALL ME if there is ANY change or decline in her wellbeing. Because I want to take her home with me if she's not going to make it the full 48 hours. Please call me if she even slightly turns from positive condition to any uncertainty in her state, because she is a SERVICE DOG." Their IMMEDIATE response was 'oh don't worry just make sure you get some sleep tonight.' My birthday was the next day, May 26, and I knew I might have to put her down on what was both my birthday and also the 11th year anniversary that I got Luna as a birthday present for my 16th birthday. VCA CALLS ME AT 11:00 AM THE FOLLOWING DAY, May 26, to say that 'her condition took a turn and by the way we used up all $6,000 deposited already so you can't get your money back.' REVIEW: they misdiagnosed my dog from a salvable issue and then forced me to put her down (re: AMA) instead of let me take her home. she didnt have to die. but she did because i went to VCA. when they refused to return my calls about a refund because they billed me for 48 hours of stay and called me at 11 hours to tell me 100% of what i deposited was used up ($6,000) and she was going to have to be put down now unless i could cough up another 30k. i later disputed it with my bank when they refused to take or return my calls and the bank approved the dispute because of the information above. i have now been receiving bills and collection notices for 10 months from them trying to reclaim what the bank already disputed on account of their negligence and malpractice. after they killed her they let her sit in their freezer for over a week and were irritated with me calling to urge her cremation. she was a faithful service dog for 11 years she had legal human rights you don't do this to a person you don't do it to an animal.
Autumn was so kind to me when I showed up with my cats! No waiting, she took me to a room, offered me a water and did not fat shame my big girl. Thank you Autumn for your compassion!
My pooch had to have an emergency surgery for a critical blockage about 8 years ago. My wife and I were lost and scared and with no reference, we chose Northwest. It was the best shot in the dark decision we could have made! We were seen that day due to our symptoms and our dog was in surgery within 2 hours of exam. We picked him up the next afternoon and he's still with us to this day thanks to these people! Don't hesitate to to bring your furry loved ones to this location! **The picture is as we were heading home from pick up. I'll never forget how overjoyed i felt in this moment, so, I could never delete it!**
Could not ask for a better experience in a time when I was very concerned for our dog. When I called and explained my dog’s symptoms, Emma gave me their soonest available time slot and was very kind the entire time. When I arrived, Emma and Alora greeted me kindly and recognized Apollo from his routine check ups so check-in was very easy. In the exam room, Dr. Van Valin and RVT Consuelo listened to all of my concerns while being very reassuring and calm when I was very not-calm. When they began to suggest possible solutions, they were clear and transparent about their reasonings and made everything very easy to understand and digest. They also took the time to show me a list of every medication and test they planned to provide with clear pricing and explanations of each - and for the care Apollo received and the peace of mind I received, I believe they are worth the price
Always incredible service! Our two dogs are very different and require very different care and meds. VCA staff always go above and beyond to get us in, answer all our questions, and most importantly take the best care of our family. Dr. Lisenbee is patient with both our pups and treats them with the utmost care and compassion. Love our vet!
