This little gem is one of the best kept secrets in town. #DouganThe Yorkie a true city dog, oves to run and play fetch here. Quiet and typically tidy. Grass is usually green with minimal dirt patches.

Not a bad little dog park. Located in the heart of downtown Phoenix. On third Avenue and Jefferson.

It was fenced in with a latch lock. Pretty standard. They have bags and grass..well, lots of missing grass in some areas. A little muddy in some spots due to the outdoor water faucet. The grass needs to be maintained, and they need someone there to regularly to make sure it's clean, dry and safe for our furry friends to have a great experience.

This is a nice, small park in the middle of down town Phoenix. Contrary to a lot of other peoples' reviews, it is still open (It is across the street from the city Courthouse near the old city hall). It is quite small but still enough area for dogs to run around unleashed and play with other dogs. The busiest and best times to go from what I have seen regularly are usually around 9am and 6pm, especially during the summer and hot months. It is important to know two things about this park however; 1. Despite the county website AND the posted sign at the park about it closing at 8PM, the city locks it at 7 or 7:30PM every day regardless of whether it is being used or not. (This is why I gave 4 stars instead of 5). 2. It is going to be closed for renovations from November 21, 2022 - December 21, 2022. They have been renovating all of the other parks around the city and did so with no notice or "hours of operation" changes online. What you read online about the hours of operations are not updated and you should understand the two points above before getting in your car or walking 5 blocks and realizing the hard way. I definitely recommend this park if you live nearby. Worth it for a few blocks walk but NOT worth a 10 minute drive or more since there is hardly anywhere to park nearby.

Great little dog park in the middle of downtown Phoenix. They have plenty of poop bags and a water faucet for your thirsty pups...just bring a bowl. I especially like the double door entrance through a container box. Makes the entrance shady and keeps sneaky puppers from escaping (which mine always tries to do). It's not a park to hang out for a long day, but it's perfect for a quick romp to exert some energy.
