Alta Animal Hospital

June 20, last week, our dog, Patch, had been treated poorly by Banfield River Park. Our regular Banfield Clovis pet vet was not available for a wound and he was not recovering in 2 days so we decided ro go to Alta since they are an ER pet facility. After he was placed on the table he had a heart attack and passed.Alta Pet Vet were so helpful and compassionate. Thank you to them for all they did in our emergency. Our daughter paid for us. Crystal Saburit. We are so grateful to everyone but miss Patch after 13 years.

I’ve been using Alta Animal Hospital off and on for 40 years. They have a new vet, Dr. Singh, who seems quite nice. Staff members are friendly and upbeat. If I could suggest one thing, it would be for everyone at Alta to work on their communication skills.

Very grateful ! Vet saved my 12 y/o chihuahua. I Took her in on a Sunday due to female issues. Vet explained her condition and squeezed her in same day surgery. What I loved about this place was that I was able to pick up my dog after surgery and bring her home same day so she could sleep in the comfort of her own home. Staff advised me to take her back next day so they can keep observation on her throughout the day, and I could pick her up in the evening . Over all the experience was much smoother than I expected as her surgery was very high risk due to her age. Vet and staff answered all my questions and concerns send her home with all her meds. I could not thank Alta vet hospital enough. My dog is doing very well and enjoying her best life. Thank you Alta vet hospital.

Was able to get my dog in on a Sunday and he ended up needing emergency surgery due to an infected and fractured dewclaw. Vet even called me mid surgery to ask if I fully wanted to remove the toe or cut the toe nail down to the base and be diligent cleaning the wound. He has since healed great and the nail is growing back. Both post-op check up visits were included as a part of the surgery cost and I did not pay extra. Highly recommend this vet hospital

I took my female dog — who is truly like a daughter to me — for a dental cleaning, and I could not be happier with the care she received. The vet did an excellent job and treated her with so much kindness and professionalism. Her teeth look amazing, and she came back happy and well cared for.
