Evan is the best! It's a one man operation and he's more knowledgeable than most of the employees at the other stores in town. If he doesn't have something you're looking for, he'll typically do what he can to get it in for you. It's great having someone nearby that knows their stuff!

Literally the best fish place in Houston. Worth the drive no matter where you’re coming from. Not only is he a treasure troll of unique and beautiful fish, but a wealth of knowledge as well. I learned more in the 15 to 20 minutes. I was in the store then I have in the last three weeks that I have been trying to grow my aquarium. Fish are his life and if you want great, Beautiful, quality fish - Paradise Fish and pet is the place to go. All of my fish will be coming from paradise!!!!! Thank you

Awesome little store! Hidden gem. The guy who owns it knows his stuff. He answered all my many questions about aquariums and didn’t make me feel rushed at all. I bought some aquarium plants and a huge piece of driftwood at a fair price. Petco doesn’t even have the selection that he has. The fish here are healthy because each tank has its own filter system and he’s got way more variety than the big stores. He can even order animals if you’re looking for something specific. He’s also got tortoises, turtles, spiders, and other exotics. The store’s clean and he lets you browse without hovering. Great experience. I’ll definitely be back.

I’m very late writing this review, 13 years to be exact. I got my puppy from here 13 years ago and she’s doing great. This place was very nice, staff was friendly and i remember them having lots of pets and accessories. I purchased my puppy, a dog carrier and clothes for her. (Photo of her now attached)

I didn't feel welcomed in their store as I searched for exotic fish for my new retail space nearby. Not one hello or hi, but I don't know why I'm surprised. Others who look like me have written reviews stating the same thing. I just wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt. I wasted 8 minutes of my time trying to give this small business my $$$. But thankfully the wonderful people at PetSmart were able to assist me and they had a cleaner store.
