My son volunteered for the American River Parkway Foundation today 💚 While waiting, I got to slow down and breathe — watching the runners, the calm water, and the geese moving gracefully across the lake. Sometimes, the world reminds us: it’s okay to pause… even in the middle of a busy life 🌿
Small state park for kayaking, canoes. A few picnic tables and restroom facilities are available. Wildlife include geese, hawks and swans. Quiet with hiking trails.

This place is beautiful, with lots of ducks and swan. They have a boat launch and dock. Lots of paddle boarding and kayaking. It’s great for a quick paddle around. Lots of room for parking.Great for an after work jaunt. Easy in and out access.
