(from Google)Pretty! Trail is mostly level with few roots or rocks. Quiet, favored by dog walkers. The wooded area borders the historic Mooresfield farm founded in 1785. A family cemetery lies off the trail, but is closed to the public.
Loved it! Easy walk/hike. Accessible for all fitness levels. Wide, well maintained trails.
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I recently explored this charming nature trail, and I can’t recommend it enough! Spanning just over a mile, it’s the perfect length for a peaceful morning walk or a quick run. The trail is exceptionally well-maintained, making it easy to navigate through the beautiful surroundings. The highlight for me was the stunning view of the river, offering a serene backdrop that is truly breathtaking. Whether you’re a nature lover or just looking for a lovely spot to clear your mind, this trail is a must-visit!
Another hidden gem of Hillsborough! It’s a bit out of the way but that means you are more likely to have the trails to yourself. The parking spots are also limited to about 6-8 vehicles. But the trail is excellent; nice and wide with some very gentle rolling elevation and a long stretch that follows the Seven Mile Creek. Highly recommended.
Just a couple of miles of trails at most, but nicely laid out with overlooks, benches, and a wonderful old cemetery along the way. Trails are generally easy, with just a few hills, and a nice creek. An easy access picnic area at the trailhead.
