(from Google)My mom and I love coming to Tugboat Annie's! The food is always good, the drinks are delicious and the view is beautiful! The calamari is great as well as the clam strips for appetizer! Highly recommend, if it wasn't so far from our houses we would be there every week!
The view is wonderful, atmosphere very boat house retro with home town feels. The food was amazing! I had the cocktail shrimp which were the size of my hand and the seafood sauté. Very generous on the amounts of the different varieties they put in the dish. Everyone on staff is warm and welcoming, very friendly and eager. My server Lindsey was the sweetest. Definitely recommend!
I read reviews about slow service but holy moly. Two people. Ordered as soon as we sat down. Two other tables that sat down after us were served before us. It was probably close to a 50 minute wait for our food, and it wasn’t a particularly busy night. All the waitstaff are college kids, which is fine, but things seemed to move at a snails pace, and our server would disappear for 10-15 minutes at a time. My wife had the Seafood Sauté, which was good. I had the Mac and cheese with crab and artichoke, which was good until I bit down on moldy bread. Overall, it just feels like whoever owns this establishment could inspire more care into staff that’s attentive and kitchen staff that cares.
This is the third time I've been here. Full disclosure, first time wasn't great. There was a strange and dingy smell, and the decor that hangs from the walls and upper areas was really dirty. That turned us off. I was here a second time for an event I was invited to, and had a better time (though the decor still needed to be cleaned). Had a hankering for prime rib, and so we thought it was worth trying again. No smell. The food was good. The prime rib was cooked perfectly and seasonal well. The chowder was OK.... Here in Oly, Chelsea Farms is the place fo chowder, or Duke's in Tacoma. Service was lacking. The waitress was sweet, eventually, sort of coming into attention and care towards the end. Sadly, we waited a while to be seated (though they weren't that busy). We waited a long time to get a welcome from the waitress. We had to ask the host. My wife's beverage took a long time, had to ask for it a second time, which came with ice, though she asked for it without. Same thing happened with coffee, which came without cream, though she asked for it. The decor still really needs to be cleaned. Dust is hanging off everything. It's off putting.
Stop by this wonderful place to get some lunch. We were quickly seated outdoors and enjoyed the wonderful Vista. There are pictures on the walls of the orcas coming up through there. That would be an amazing sight! Are cold drinks were delivered to us quickly. Food order took a little bit longer but not too bad. The fish and chips were excellent as well as the crab cakes. Had the sauteed seafood dish. It could have used a little more seasoning I was more like a chowder. Still a good mix of seafood. The sweet potato tots were good. We had also ordered calamari but they forgot to bring it out. So I can't tell you anything about that. All in all pretty good experience. The prices are fair and the service was good.
