They were able to take in my pythons I needed to re-home, and had a sweet leopard gecko for my daughter. Always a pleasure coming here, and I'll make the long drive for it. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable, happy to help you take care of your critters. Massive selection of fish she reptiles. I do miss their old location, but the vibe hasn't changed.

If you care at all about animals then DO NOT give this place your business. My wife and I went in there yesterday and every single reptile was infested with mites. When I informed a woman who worked there she told me that she just wipes them off with a paper towel. So they either have no clue how to properly deal with reptile mites or they blatantly disregard their responsibilities altogether. I’m honestly not sure which is worse. They were all soaking in their water bowls that had old water or none at all. Some had minimal substrate that was disgusting and hadn’t been changed in who knows how long. Others had no substrate at all. Every single animal looked miserable and were inside enclosures that were way too small for their size. If you find yourself wanting to buy an animal there for the sake of rescuing the animal from these horrid conditions then I get it but I implore you not to, as difficult as that may be. If you do then places like this will be able to continue operating and putting innocent animals through complete torture. I wish I could give negative stars. I’ll never understand why law enforcement will get involved for dogs and cats being neglected but for reptiles nobody cares. Places like this are prime examples of it and they need to be shut down immediately.

I don't think this place takes well care of their animals. Alot of large species are in quite small tanks. It was so disturbing I didn't even take any photos. Rodents packed into small aquariums. Even if they are feeders they shouldn't be kept that way. Large snakes housed together. Large lizards in small tanks. Overall overpriced too. The fact they are selling their god awful setups too is disgusting. If you care about animals do your research.

these animals are kept terribly. there was about 10 leopard geckos in a 10 gallon tank together. any good review on this place is from somebody who has no idea what good husbandry looks like. every reptile, fish, and mammal has some type of medical issue, and are all stressed. don’t give this place a single penny of your money. you’re better off going to raleigh and finding something there

Drip acclimating the micro shrimp just to be safe. I heard they can withstand different PH, love algae, and biofilm buildup. Just gotta keep the water quality consistent and not clean it so much because they don't like sudden changes and could kill them. Crossing my fingers I do this right because this will be my first time handling these kind of shrimp. 2 hours of Drip acclimating they went in. They're grazing like nothing happened. So far so good. Edit: they produced baby shrimp!
