🤩 We stopped in for a Purple Martin House pole to replace a section that had snapped off (of previous property owner). The guy at S&K who talked to us was extremely helpful, generous and knowledgeable. He explained how to cut the end off and stick it back in either the sleeve, if there is one, or new concrete. He saved us a lot of money and gave us great detailed advice on being a Purple Martin landlord. He also gave us a couple of decoys to attract new birds, which will also be the decoy for predators and save the live birds. Further generous advice was to paint it to freshen it up and always take other birds' nests out and throw them in the trash. We didn't catch his name, but ... Thanks for everything! 💜 Now I might go back for their printing services too!

It's important to understand that this is a manufacturing company. They make some nice birdhouses. They suck at retail. Don't expect customer service from them. I had to involve the Attorney General to get them to honor their warranty. The lady that answers the phone sounds like she hates her job. They simply to not have the disposition to work with the public.

What a fantastic company. Came for a new Purple Martin pole and then dealt with a great sales manager named Steve. He worked with me to print a great tribute photo of my grandpa. Outstanding experience!

I had to call customer service, and the experience was delightful. This family owned business is full of helpful people that go above and beyond to help their customers. Supporting a family that supports nature makes sense to me. They even let me know when Martins would likely return to my area since it is my first time to attract the birds.

Purple martin gourds are nice. How they handle issues is not. I ordered 12 gourds that I was told would fit the system I currently have (which I purchased from S&K also). They did not. I have a square rack system and these had round holes. They told me it work. It didn't. Their response was for me to drill out the holes on the gourds and make them larger. That was a concern since it would destroy the outer plastic support ring. The manager assured me he would take care of any issues that may result. I was not convinced and asked to return since they told me they would fit and they didn't. They said I would have to pay return freight. REALLY! This was their mistake and they want me to pay return freight. I ended up keeping them as it wasn't worth paying the freight back. I'd previously purchases two complete martin gourd systems from these guys and they handle this issue this way for a repeat customer. Take care if you deal with these folks. They apparently will not stand by their word if it's going to cost them money.
