Petco

Shout out to the best pet store ever. I found assistance at the door to find my Ollie food. I found assistance with grooming immediately with in half hour with Josh. Theresa is always helpful at check out. I’m new to this store. They are all wonderful with food supplements looking appts up etc. Thank you for your great service!

Excellent service! The store is currently transitioning, some shelves are a little empty but the sales rep knew exactly where to find what I needed. She was very helpful and knowledgeable of the various brands of food, which I appreciate learning. Thank you for great service and a great attitude during the change.

The store was well stocked but stocking carts filled with food were everywhere. Kind of a junky look. Numerous shelves with canned cat food lacked price tags. The employees were very nice. Quick to respond. I hadn't been in a Petco for some time. This wasn't the typical look of a Petco. It was a Saturday midday so perhaps it is the day they stock. I personally like Petco and prefer it to other stores.

Got a hamster from here on the 9th and I am very disappointed with the way they cared for it. I had it for about a week and after a couple of days of it being home I noticed it was always sleeping, wasn’t moving much, had her eyes almost shut most of the time, losing weight, wasn’t eating or drinking, and peeing and pooping on herself. I thought she was depressed and kept an eye on her expecting her to get better. Until the 18th, I picked her up from her enclosure and noticed blood on her parts and a matted lump of what looked like feces and dried blood. Concerned, I took her back to get looked at by a vet and was told I’m able to get a refund if the animal looked sick or isn’t acting right if it is brought in before 30 days and they will do their “best” to try to help. I received my refund pretty much right away no questions asked and went back in to make sure they were going to take care of it since I wanted my pet to be taken care of and they advised me they would have a vet take a look and try to help with no payment required since that’s what their refund policy says. I spoke with tom about my concerns and he assured me he would keep the hamster at the store to see a vet, gave me the store number and to call on Monday at 2. Fast forward to Monday at 2 we call the store, speak with tom and he tells us to try again tomorrow at the same time. So fast forward to today at 2 we call again and are greeted with a different gentleman who informs us that there was “nothing” they could do and that the hamster had passed. I highly doubt it actually even saw a vet considering every time I visit the store their vet co is always closed almost like they don’t have a vet on site at all. I’m disappointed with the way my pet was handled and how I was blown off. I will not be doing business with them anymore.

Wonderful staff . Had my puppy Sissy in for her first time toenails cut and buffed for her birthday. She was a little worried at first but did very well. She enjoyed other dogs being around to socialize with. Great trip , we'll be back!!!!!!
